Rosa is a non-profit
Rosa is working on a societal mission: improving the lives of patients. We founded Rosa as a non-profit because it’s the most appropriate organizational type for a societal mission, especially in healthcare.
Rosa receives social impact funding
Like any project, Rosa needs funding.
We partner with social impact funds. These funds use their financial means to support innovative projects like ours, so we can focus on creating social change.
These first few years, Rosa will be fully funded by the Partena Promeris social impact fund. We’re very grateful for its financial support and trust.
Rosa’s societal business model
After an initial investment phase, Rosa began developing its “societal business model.”
What does this mean? The term “societal” emphasizes our commitment to measuring success by our mission. The “business model” aspect highlights that, like any non-profit, Rosa carefully balances its income and expenses. Our societal business model ensures we achieve impact without compromising financial sustainability.
Practically, Rosa created two revenue streams based on a fundamental principle: demonstrate value first, request financial support second.
-
We offer paid licenses to large organizations, such as hospitals and health administrations.
-
We invite health professionals to become adhering members.
Our hope is that by continuing on this path, Rosa will eventually receive funding from the National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (NIHDI) in recognition of our societal impact.
